After successful completion of the course and examination candidates will receive a Boat Driver's Licence Category ‘C’, issued by the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Development of the Republic of Croatia, valid for 5 years. The licence is valid on the international waters and territorial waters of the Republic of Croatia and includes a VHF radio operator licence. The licence authorizes the holder to hire and drive sailing boats as well as motor boats up to 30 GT. The validity of the licence is not limited to pleasure boats.

The medical examination is held in Sibenik on Friday at 8am (Croatian medical certificate covers: eye examination, hearing test, EKG, endurance test), followed by a whole day long training on Saturday, Sunday and Monday till 16pm. The exam is held at the Harbour Master’s Office at 17pm on Monday
